Carry collects as little as it needs to run. This page says what that is.
What we collect
- Your email address, to send sign-in links and manage your subscription.
- Subscription status and a customer reference from our payment provider. We never see or store your card number.
- A sign-in cookie that keeps you signed in. It is needed for the site to work.
- Server logs kept by our host, which can include your IP address and the pages requested, used for security and fixing problems.
What stays on your device
Your profit log, chart settings, drawings and layout are saved in your browser's local storage. They are not sent to our servers. Clearing your browser data removes them, so use the export option in the profit log to keep a copy.
Who else handles data
- Stripe processes payments.
- Resend delivers sign-in emails.
- Render hosts the site.
- Price feeds. The chart in your browser connects directly to public data feeds from Coinbase, Bitstamp, Kraken and Gemini, and our server reads public market data from Kalshi. Those services see your IP address as with any website you visit.
- Google Fonts serves the site's typefaces, which means Google sees your IP address when a page loads.
We do not run advertising or behavioural tracking, and we do not sell your data.
Keeping and deleting data
We keep your email and subscription record while your account is active and for as long as the law requires afterwards. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.
